Is Priyanka Chopra, Shahid Kapoor's new love interest?
Shahid Kapoor was born to critically acclaimed actor Pankaj Kapoor and actress/classical dancer Neelima Azim. His parents divorced when he was three and he mostly lived with his mother. When he was 18, he accidentally landed in the commercial for Pepsi which starred Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol and Rani Mukherjee. He also starred in a music video for the band, Aryans. He is a trained dancer, and received his training from famed dancer, Shiamak Davar. After working as an extra here and there, Shahid finally landed with a leading role in Ken Ghosh's Ishq Vishk. Shahid received many accolades for his refreshing performance in the candy floss romantic flick. He also gained a growing fan base, which included Bollywood babe Kareena Kapoor too! Shahid is the hot favorite amongst youngsters from the time he had put his foot in Bollywood. But his starring films, except a few were nothing more than average. Be it the wrong script or poor performance or his hard luck, he wasnt getting a hit. But the actor never gave up and did all the slogging that is required to win the hearts of the directors and today he has all the big banners in his pocket. After his performance in Suraj Barjatiyas film, Vivaah there was no looking back as he started giving hits after hits. Today, audiences expect a lot more with each release and he is being successful in living to their expectations. The young actor is well planned and knows the demands of his profession and thus he is the young icon for health and fitness in this country. The actor is well known as a fitness freak as well as disciplined. When it comes to sticking to his vegetarian diet he is super-duper firm and disciplined. Shahid admits that in his profession, being fit and healthy is more a requirement rather than an option. Shahid Kapoor with lightening in his feet seems pretty chilled out and unfazed by controversies in real life. Like all stars even Shahid couldnt escape the professional hazards. Shahid when entered the industry was accused for dancing on his then girl friend Kareena Kapoors name and coping Shah Rukh Khan. Though he was reluctant to say anything about these but his actions spoke it all. Today neither does he have Kareena nor do he looks or behaves like SRK but still he is in limelight, courtesy hard work and this proves all allegations as null and void. Besides this, the series of link-ups with his co-stars have always troubled the young guy. His rumored amours with Priyanka Chopra, Vidya Balan and Sania Mirza, recently made him admit that his link-ups are here to stay and questions about ex-girlfriend Kareena Kapoor will probably plague him for the rest of his life. The actor has also laughed away rumors of a romance with Kaminey co-star Priyanka Chopra and the fact that hes shifting house since she stays in the same building. Shahid has been single since the last two years and he is enjoying this phase of his life now. And why wouldnt he? What would an actor want from his professional life? All the big banners in his pocket, all the media attention, one movie releasing after the other, and back to back hits, isnt it? Well, Shahid has it all. With his commendable performance in every film he has proved his versatility to the world. The actor is a very good game player and is very quickly climbing the ladder of success. Way to go Shahid
